La poeta nicarag\u00fcense Gioconda Belli recibi\u00f3 la v\u00edspera el Premio Reina Sof\u00eda de Poes\u00eda Iberoamericana en su XXXII edici\u00f3n de manos de quien le da su nombre, la reina Sof\u00eda, en un acto solemne celebrado en el Paraninfo de la Universidad de Salamanca (USAL), noroeste espa\u00f1ol. \u201cDoy fe del tiempo y los escollos encontrados para reivindicar la mirada femenina y dar plenos poderes a una experiencia humana que por siglos no lograba expresarse fuera de los l\u00edmites de convenciones morales y religiosas que relegaban a la mujer a un rol marginal y sometido\u201d, afirm\u00f3 la galardonada al reivindicar la visi\u00f3n femenina que caracteriza buena parte de su obra.<\/p>\n

Ante un Paraninfo abarrotado de acad\u00e9micos, estudiantes y amantes de la poes\u00eda que arroparon sus palabras con un sonoro aplauso, Belli, quien reside en Madrid desde 2022, hizo hincapi\u00e9 tambi\u00e9n en su condici\u00f3n de exiliada, a trav\u00e9s de los versos de su poema \u201cDespatriada\u201d, y ha dedicado una parte sustancial de su discurso a agradecer \u201cla ternura y la solidaridad\u201d que ha encontrado a su llegada, recordando a los familiares, amigas y amigos que la han acogido.<\/p>\n

\u201cEs duro el exilio, pero en Espa\u00f1a he sentido lo que m\u00e1s se a\u00f1ora en los destierros: La sensaci\u00f3n de pertenencia\u201d, resalt\u00f3 y a\u00f1adi\u00f3 que recibe el premio \u201ccon la humildad de saber que soy s\u00f3lo due\u00f1a del azar de la palabra\u201d, adem\u00e1s de agradecer al jurado que haya valorado \u201cla temprana celebraci\u00f3n que hice y sigo haciendo del ser mujer, para oponerme a la desigualdad\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"Gioconda<\/p>\n

Elogio a la premiada<\/strong><\/h4>\n

El rector de la USAL, Ricardo Rivero dedic\u00f3 un elogioso discurso a la premiada, trazando una conexi\u00f3n entre la Grecia cl\u00e1sica, Salamanca y Am\u00e9rica Latina a trav\u00e9s de Arist\u00f3teles, Santo Tom\u00e1s y Francisco de Vitoria, con la libertad como hilo conductor. \u201cAdoramos c\u00f3mo escribe Gioconda Belli. Es precisa, c\u00e1lida y a la par temperada, revolucionaria cr\u00edtica con los fascistas que se dicen de izquierdas y habitada como mujer del emblem\u00e1tico esp\u00edritu de la justicia natural, el de Ant\u00edgona\u201d, apunt\u00f3.<\/p>\n

No faltaron referencias al pa\u00eds de origen de la premiada. \u201cNuestro primer doctorado honoris causa hace cien a\u00f1os fue para Santa Teresa, la amiga de San Juan. Ella y \u00e9l escribieron la m\u00e1s hermosa poes\u00eda en condiciones de privaci\u00f3n, tortura y c\u00e1rcel. Tambi\u00e9n lo hicieron as\u00ed Unamuno y Fray Luis de Le\u00f3n. As\u00ed pues, Gioconda Belli, os sum\u00e1is a una maravillosa pl\u00e9yade: la de personas capaces de expresar lo m\u00e1s bello del ser humano en condiciones tan adversas, las que hoy sufre Nicaragua\u201d, dijo el Rector.<\/p>\n

Previamente al acto solemne de entrega de premio, el Sal\u00f3n Rectoral de la Casa Museo Unamuno acogi\u00f3 la presentaci\u00f3n de la Antolog\u00eda Po\u00e9tica \u201cParir el alba\u201d, editada por la Universidad de Salamanca, que agrupa una selecci\u00f3n de poemas que refleja la evoluci\u00f3n personal y po\u00e9tica de Gioconda Belli, e incorpora una extensa introducci\u00f3n de la responsable de la edici\u00f3n, la profesora de Literatura de la USAL Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Bru\u00f1a Bragado.<\/p>\n

La portada del libro reproduce un cuadro del pintor nicarag\u00fcense Armando Morales, incluye un poema manuscrito por la propia autora, \u201cComo tinaja\u201d, y cuatro poemas in\u00e9ditos: \u201cDespatriada\u201d, \u201cLa lluvia huele en Madrid\u201d, \u201cS\u00edsifo\u201d y \u201cP\u00e1jaros mudos\u201d, y se cierra con un dibujo de una ceiba, \u00e1rbol sagrado de los mayas y uno de los emblemas de Nicaragua.<\/p>\n

Prestigioso galard\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h4>\n

El objetivo del Premio Reina Sof\u00eda de Poes\u00eda Iberoamericana, convocado conjuntamente la Universidad de Salamanca y Patrimonio Nacional desde 1992, es reconocer el conjunto de la obra de un autor vivo que, por su valor literario, constituye una aportaci\u00f3n relevante al patrimonio cultural com\u00fan de Espa\u00f1a e Iberoam\u00e9rica. Este galard\u00f3n se ha convertido en el m\u00e1s prestigioso en el \u00e1mbito de la poes\u00eda espa\u00f1ola y portuguesa.<\/p>\n

Junto a la dotaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica, de 42 mil 100 euros, contempla la edici\u00f3n de un poemario antol\u00f3gico, jornadas acad\u00e9micas sobre la persona galardonada y el estudio de su obra a cargo de un destacado profesor de literatura de la Universidad de Salamanca.<\/p>\n

Gioconda Belli se suma ahora a la portentosa lista de poetas reconocidos con este premio desde su creaci\u00f3n.
