El objetivo es determinar si el estado de la enfermedad es agudo o cr\u00f3nico.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Blanca Hilda V\u00e1zquez G\u00f3mez, acad\u00e9mica del Instituto de Investigaciones en Matem\u00e1ticas Aplicadas y en Sistemas (IIMAS) de la UNAM, Unidad Yucat\u00e1n, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que la fase aguda de la enfermedad es dif\u00edcil de detectar, ya que los pacientes no presentan s\u00edntomas. Si no se trata, la enfermedad progresa a una fase cr\u00f3nica con da\u00f1o en el miocardio, lo que puede llevar al fallecimiento.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-107964 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/ENFERMEDAD-DE-CHAGAS-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"enfermedad de chagas\" width=\"635\" height=\"414\" srcset=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/ENFERMEDAD-DE-CHAGAS-scaled.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/ENFERMEDAD-DE-CHAGAS-1536x1001.jpeg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 635px) 100vw, 635px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La informaci\u00f3n fue revelada durante la conferencia \u00abInteligencia Artificial en la detecci\u00f3n del mal de Chagas\u00bb en el IV Encuentro Internacional: Alcances de la Ingenier\u00eda Biom\u00e9dica, organizado por el Centro de Investigaciones Regionales \u00abDr. Hideyo Noguchi\u00bb de la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Yucat\u00e1n (CIR-UADY).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La especialista explic\u00f3 que el proceso de an\u00e1lisis de im\u00e1genes incluye la redimensi\u00f3n, la adici\u00f3n de datos como la escala de grises, la intensidad de color y el desenfoque. Posteriormente, se lleva a cabo el entrenamiento con la IA.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Aprender y predecir enfermedad de chagas<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">V\u00e1zquez G\u00f3mez indic\u00f3 que con estas propuestas pueden aprender y predecir la etapa de la enfermedad a partir de las im\u00e1genes patol\u00f3gicas. Adem\u00e1s, planean mejorar con otras t\u00e9cnicas de evaluaci\u00f3n de datos y probar otros modelos previamente entrenados en el futuro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Jorge Luis P\u00e9rez Gonz\u00e1lez, compa\u00f1ero de investigaci\u00f3n del IIMAS, inform\u00f3 que el proyecto comenz\u00f3 en 2015 con estudios preliminares sobre la <span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/iniciaran-pruebas-de-vacuna-terapeutica-contra-mal-de-chagas\/\">enfermedad de Chagas<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. A lo largo del tiempo, se desarroll\u00f3 y mostr\u00f3 excelentes resultados.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-107965 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/enfermedad-de-chagas-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"enfermedad de chagas\" width=\"584\" height=\"389\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Se cre\u00f3 un algoritmo que clasifica a trav\u00e9s de electrocardiogramas si el estado del paciente es agudo o cr\u00f3nico. Tambi\u00e9n se gener\u00f3 una programaci\u00f3n para clasificar im\u00e1genes histol\u00f3gicas y analizar las c\u00e9lulas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">P\u00e9rez Gonz\u00e1lez adelant\u00f3 que los planes futuros incluyen realizar m\u00e1s investigaciones y desarrollar estrategias adicionales para el an\u00e1lisis de datos con el aprendizaje de algoritmos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Finalmente, record\u00f3 que la enfermedad de Chagas puede transmitirse por la picadura del insecto Pic (triatoma dimidiata), transmisi\u00f3n transplacentaria de madre a feto, transmisi\u00f3n sangu\u00ednea, contaminaci\u00f3n oral al ingerir el par\u00e1sito y transmisi\u00f3n accidental,
