{"id":109819,"date":"2024-02-14T14:51:02","date_gmt":"2024-02-14T20:51:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/?p=109819"},"modified":"2024-02-14T14:51:02","modified_gmt":"2024-02-14T20:51:02","slug":"cientificos-premiados-por-enlazar-areas-geometricas-claves","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/cientificos-premiados-por-enlazar-areas-geometricas-claves\/","title":{"rendered":"Cient\u00edficos premiados por enlazar \u00e1reas geom\u00e9tricas claves"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Premio Fundaci\u00f3n BBVA Fronteras del Conocimiento en Ciencias B\u00e1sicas ha sido concedido en su XVI edici\u00f3n a Claire Voisin (Centro Nacional de Investigaci\u00f3n Cient\u00edfica, CNRS, Francia) y Yakov Eliashberg (Universidad de Stanford, EEUU) por impulsar el avance del pensamiento matem\u00e1tico al derribar barreras y tender puentes entre dos \u00e1reas clave de la geometr\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los investigadores galardonados han realizado \u201ccontribuciones sobresalientes\u201d a las denominadas geometr\u00edas algebraica y simpl\u00e9ctica, que exploran \u201cespacios de grandes dimensiones, son dif\u00edciles de visualizar y hacen necesarias nuevas t\u00e9cnicas matem\u00e1ticas para comprenderlos y estudiarlos\u201d, en palabras del jurado.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Estos dos campos han adquirido una especial importancia en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os al vincularse con las teor\u00edas de la f\u00edsica cu\u00e1ntica, que explora las propiedades m\u00e1s fundamentales de la materia y la energ\u00eda a escala subat\u00f3mica.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-109820\" src=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Cientificos1-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Cient\u00edficos premiados por enlazar \u00e1reas geom\u00e9tricas claves\" width=\"598\" height=\"337\" srcset=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Cientificos1-scaled.jpg 768w, https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Cientificos1-1536x864.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 598px) 100vw, 598px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Geometr\u00eda: Un papel fundamental en su desarrollo<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Trabajando de manera independiente, los matem\u00e1ticos galardonados \u201chan desempe\u00f1ado un papel fundamental en el desarrollo de estos aspectos diversos de la geometr\u00eda, en particular al adaptar y relacionar conceptos de uno y otro campo, cruzando la frontera entre ambas disciplinas\u201d. Por ello, sus contribuciones \u201chan estimulado enormemente la investigaci\u00f3n internacional en ambas \u00e1reas de las matem\u00e1ticas\u201d, concluy\u00f3 el acta del fallo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cCuando se derriban las fronteras entre dos \u00e1reas de las matem\u00e1ticas, esto resulta muy estimulante para los investigadores de nuestra disciplina, ya que permite adoptar un nuevo lenguaje y posiblemente un nuevo marco, una nueva forma de ver las cosas desde el otro lado, lo que te permite avanzar m\u00e1s. Si puedes enmarcar un problema que te plantea un desaf\u00edo desde otra perspectiva, a veces puedes encontrar el camino a seguir. Esta ha sido una contribuci\u00f3n fundamental de Voisin y Eliashberg, que han impulsado el progreso de las matem\u00e1ticas al romper barreras entre \u00e1reas diversas de la geometr\u00eda\u201d, explic\u00f3 el profesor Nigel Hitchin, catedr\u00e1tico em\u00e9rito Savilian de Geometr\u00eda en el Instituto Matem\u00e1tico de la Universidad de Oxford (Reino Unido) y miembro del jurado.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-109821 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Cientificos-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Cientificos-scaled.jpg 768w, https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Cientificos-1536x864.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Geometr\u00eda algebraica<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">La geometr\u00eda algebraica es una disciplina cl\u00e1sica de las matem\u00e1ticas que parte de una clase de ecuaciones sencillas, aquellas definidas por polinomios, y estudia sus soluciones desde el punto de vista de la geometr\u00eda. \u201cEs una disciplina que tiene una cierta rigidez\u201d, explic\u00f3 Hitchin, porque al modificar, incluso ligeramente, los objetos geom\u00e9tricos que trata, sus propiedades pueden cambiar hasta el punto de volverse irreconocibles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por otro lado, la geometr\u00eda simpl\u00e9ctica, de la que Eliashberg contribuy\u00f3 a sentar las bases, surge a partir de los objetos geom\u00e9tricos que describen el movimiento en f\u00edsica. Es, en principio, una disciplina \u201cm\u00e1s flexible\u201d, apunt\u00f3 Hitchin, ya que desde su origen estudia c\u00f3mo var\u00edan la posici\u00f3n y la velocidad a lo largo del
