El evento astron\u00f3mico se pudo apreciar con medidas de protecci\u00f3n ocular proporcionadas por el Ayuntamiento de M\u00e9rida.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Observaci\u00f3n segura del eclipse en el \u00abOlimpo\u00bb<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Alcalde Alejandro Ruz Castro presenci\u00f3 este fen\u00f3meno astron\u00f3mico en el Patio Central del Centro Cultural de M\u00e9rida \u00abOlimpo\u00bb, que fue la sede oficial, junto con otros dos observatorios ubicados en El Gran Museo de la Cultura Maya e Izamal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A partir de las 11:18 horas, momento en que inici\u00f3 el eclipse parcial en M\u00e9rida, las personas se acercaron al \u00abOlimpo\u00bb para observar el evento. A trav\u00e9s de cinco telescopios con filtro certificado y 150 lentes especiales, pudieron apreciar este fen\u00f3meno astron\u00f3mico que tambi\u00e9n estuvo acompa\u00f1ado por el paso del Cometa Diablo y la alineaci\u00f3n planetaria de J\u00fapiter, Marte y Saturno.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tecnolog\u00eda para personas con discapacidad visual<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por primera vez en M\u00e9rida, se cont\u00f3 con el Lightsound, un dispositivo creado para que las personas con dificultades visuales puedan experimentar los eclipses a trav\u00e9s del sonido. Este sensor mide la intensidad de la luz y el dispositivo transforma ese valor en sonido.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El eclipse parcial alcanz\u00f3 su punto m\u00e1ximo en M\u00e9rida a las 12:35 y finaliz\u00f3 a las 13:52 horas. En M\u00e9xico, los estados de Sinaloa, Chihuahua, Durango y Coahuila tuvieron una visibilidad del 100% del eclipse total de sol.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Colaboraci\u00f3n y recomendaciones<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En la sede del \u00abOlimpo\u00bb, cuatro colaboradores del Planetario, cuatro j\u00f3venes de servicio social del planetario y 20 j\u00f3venes de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SoAUADY\/?locale=es_LA\">Sociedad Astron\u00f3mica de la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Yucat\u00e1n (UADY)<\/a> brindaron apoyo a los asistentes.
