{"id":121096,"date":"2025-04-24T14:35:05","date_gmt":"2025-04-24T20:35:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/?p=121096"},"modified":"2025-04-24T14:35:05","modified_gmt":"2025-04-24T20:35:05","slug":"cenotes-de-yucatan-en-grave-riesgo-ambiental","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/cenotes-de-yucatan-en-grave-riesgo-ambiental\/","title":{"rendered":"Cenotes de Yucat\u00e1n, en grave riesgo ambiental"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al menos 50 cenotes en Yucat\u00e1n enfrentan graves problemas de contaminaci\u00f3n debido a pr\u00e1cticas tur\u00edsticas irresponsables, como la ampliaci\u00f3n excesiva de sus accesos y el uso indiscriminado de cloro, lo que est\u00e1 provocando la muerte de especies end\u00e9micas que habitan estos ecosistemas acu\u00e1ticos milenarios.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GrosjeanSergio\/?locale=es_LA\">Sergio Grosjean Abimerhi<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, reconocido explorador e investigador yucateco especializado en arqueolog\u00eda subacu\u00e1tica, explic\u00f3 que muchos propietarios de cenotes han comenzado a modificar estos espacios naturales con maquinaria pesada para atraer m\u00e1s turistas, sin considerar el impacto ambiental de estas acciones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abEl problema es que al ampliarlos alteran su ecosistema natural que la naturaleza ha llevado millones de a\u00f1os en formar\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Grosjean. \u00abCuando ampl\u00edan un cenote, el agua que deber\u00eda circular en aproximadamente 24 horas puede tardar hasta 80 o 100 horas, lo que provoca su descomposici\u00f3n natural\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-121097 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Cenotes1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"604\" height=\"340\" srcset=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Cenotes1.png 768w, https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Cenotes1-1536x864.png 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ante esta situaci\u00f3n, los propietarios optan por a\u00f1adir cloro para \u00ablimpiar\u00bb el agua, lo que resulta fatal para la biodiversidad. \u00abCuando visitas un cenote y no hay ni un solo pez, es porque lo est\u00e1n clorando\u00bb, advirti\u00f3 el fundador de \u00abGrosjean Expedition\u00bb.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Reglamento de cenotes ignorado sistem\u00e1ticamente<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El investigador tambi\u00e9n destac\u00f3 que existe un reglamento desde 2013 para regular el uso tur\u00edstico de los cenotes, pero no se est\u00e1 respetando ni vigilando adecuadamente. Aunque se han registrado aproximadamente 3,100 cenotes en Yucat\u00e1n, algunos expertos estiman que podr\u00eda haber hasta 100,000 en toda la pen\u00ednsula.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abEs un descontrol total\u00bb, lament\u00f3 Grosjean Abimerhi, quien hace un llamado a las autoridades para implementar medidas m\u00e1s estrictas que protejan estos sitios que hist\u00f3ricamente han sido fundamentales para la regi\u00f3n, no solo como fuentes de agua sino tambi\u00e9n como espacios sagrados para la cultura
