ganaderos para impulsar pr\u00e1cticas que reduzcan los ataques de jaguar al ganado y, con ello, frenar la cacer\u00eda del felino y su incorporaci\u00f3n al mercado ilegal de partes silvestres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La organizaci\u00f3n advierte que, ante los conflictos generados en ranchos, algunos ejemplares terminan siendo sacrificados y sus restos vendidos clandestinamente.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-126282 size-full\" title=\"Piden retomar al jaguar como emblema para la conservaci\u00f3n\" justify;\">\u201cSabemos que varios jaguares eliminados por conflictos est\u00e1n entrando al tr\u00e1fico de partes\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Anuar Hern\u00e1ndez Saint Mart\u00edn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El responsable del Programa de Felinos de Pronatura record\u00f3 que el jaguar cuenta con protecci\u00f3n federal desde 1987 y que su conservaci\u00f3n es clave para mantener ecosistemas sanos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sin embargo, explic\u00f3 que la especie permanece bajo presi\u00f3n por la expansi\u00f3n agr\u00edcola, los atropellamientos y las interacciones con la ganader\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cLa parte m\u00e1s compleja ocurre cuando los jaguares salen de las zonas de conservaci\u00f3n y entran en \u00e1reas productivas\u201d, explic\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para reducir estos riesgos, Pronatura promueve acciones como cercos el\u00e9ctricos, capacitaciones y asesor\u00eda a ranchos que aplican ganader\u00eda regenerativa, lo que ayuda a disminuir incidentes con la fauna silvestre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La organizaci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n desarroll\u00f3 un diagn\u00f3stico nacional que identifica los municipios donde se registran casos de cacer\u00eda y comercio ilegal, permitiendo enfocar esfuerzos de protecci\u00f3n y vigilancia.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>El jaguar con presencia en la regi\u00f3n\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En la Pen\u00ednsula de Yucat\u00e1n \u2014que alberga la segunda poblaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s grande de jaguares del continente\u2014 se estima la presencia de entre 780 y mil 460 ejemplares.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No obstante, Hern\u00e1ndez precis\u00f3 que Yucat\u00e1n es el estado con menor n\u00famero de estos felinos, pues se concentran en zonas perif\u00e9ricas y costeras.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En un \u00e1rea de 4 mil hect\u00e1reas en el oriente del estado, destinada a su conservaci\u00f3n, se han identificado al menos 80 individuos y desde 2015 se ha documentado cada a\u00f1o la presencia de nuevas cr\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El especialista subray\u00f3 que es indispensable que los paisajes productivos se vuelvan compatibles con la presencia del jaguar y que se impulsen figuras como los ranchos amigables con felinos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Asimismo, insisti\u00f3 en que es momento de que la entidad \u201cretome al jaguar como emblema para la conservaci\u00f3n\u201d, a fin de fortalecer las acciones para garantizar su permanencia en el territorio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
