Cuando se suman los efectos en la cadena tur\u00edstica completa (agencias, gu\u00edas, hoteles, restaurantes y transportistas), las p\u00e9rdidas superan f\u00e1cilmente los <strong>10 millones de pesos diarios<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al d\u00eda de hoy, el sitio acumula <strong>8 d\u00edas cerrado<\/strong> de forma oficial, lo que representa un golpe econ\u00f3mico para la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-129321 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Chichen-Itza2-scaled.avif\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Cronolog\u00eda del conflicto en Chich\u00e9n Itz\u00e1<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El conflicto estall\u00f3 el <strong>18 y 19 de mayo de 2026<\/strong>. Durante una larga mesa de di\u00e1logo, el INAH y el Patronato Cultur del Gobierno de Yucat\u00e1n colocaron rejas y cerraron el antiguo parador tur\u00edstico argumentando \u201cmantenimiento y reorganizaci\u00f3n operativa\u201d. Los artesanos lo interpretaron como una <strong>traici\u00f3n<\/strong> y rompimiento de acuerdos previos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El <strong>19 de mayo<\/strong> se anunci\u00f3 el cierre oficial del sitio arqueol\u00f3gico, el Centro de Atenci\u00f3n a Visitantes (CATVI) y el Gran Museo. Horas despu\u00e9s, artesanos y pobladores de Pist\u00e9 retiraron las rejas y abrieron el acceso de forma irregular, permitiendo el ingreso gratuito de turistas como medida de presi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Entre el <strong>20 y 25 de mayo<\/strong> se realizaron varias mesas de di\u00e1logo en M\u00e9rida y Valladolid. El gobierno ofreci\u00f3 reacomodos parciales, pero los artesanos las rechazaron. Hasta hoy, <strong>no existe acuerdo<\/strong> y el sitio sigue sin operar con normalidad.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Partes involucradas y l\u00edderes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Del lado de los inconformes destaca el <strong>Consejo Ind\u00edgena de Gobierno de Pist\u00e9<\/strong>, integrado por artesanos y prestadores de servicios de las comunidades de Pist\u00e9 y Telchaquillo. Entre sus l\u00edderes visibles se encuentran <strong>Teresa D\u00edaz<\/strong>, <strong>Hermenegildo Cahum<\/strong>, <strong>Russel Yam Caamal<\/strong>, <strong>Roberto Tuz<\/strong> y <strong>Heber Uc Rivero<\/strong>. Los artesanos exigen permanecer en el antiguo parador, ya que el nuevo CATVI les reduce dr\u00e1sticamente sus ventas.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>El rol del alcalde Evelio Mis Tun y la familia Mis<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un actor clave en el conflicto es el <strong>alcalde de Tinum, Evelio Mis Tun<\/strong>. Aunque no es el l\u00edder visible de las protestas, se ha posicionado p\u00fablicamente a favor de los artesanos, acusando al gobierno estatal de incumplir acuerdos. Sin embargo, algunos grupos lo han criticado por su <strong>\u201cdoble discurso\u201d<\/strong> y presunta filtraci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La <strong>familia Mis<\/strong> (Mis Tun y Mis Mex) mantiene una fuerte influencia pol\u00edtica y econ\u00f3mica en Tinum y Pist\u00e9 desde hace m\u00e1s de 15 a\u00f1os. Evelio Mis Tun ya fue alcalde (2010-2012), y su hija <strong>Natalia Mis Mex<\/strong> ocup\u00f3 el cargo en varios periodos. Se les acusa de operar el ayuntamiento como una \u201cempresa familiar\u201d, con negocios relacionados al turismo en la zona.
