Las autoridades mantienen suspendido el uso del sitio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-131925\" src=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/naegleria-3.avif\" alt=\"\" width=\"554\" height=\"554\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Naegleria fowleri: lago permanecer\u00e1 cerrado<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Instituto de Diagn\u00f3stico y Referencia Epidemiol\u00f3gicos (InDRE) confirm\u00f3 que el fallecimiento fue causado por <strong>meningoencefalitis por Naegleria fowleri<\/strong>. La Red Nacional de Laboratorios de Salud P\u00fablica detect\u00f3 la ameba en muestras del lago, asociando el lugar con la v\u00eda probable de infecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Direcci\u00f3n de Protecci\u00f3n Contra Riesgos Sanitarios de los Servicios de Salud de Yucat\u00e1n (SSY) ratific\u00f3 la <strong>suspensi\u00f3n de actividades<\/strong> y turnar\u00e1 el acta de verificaci\u00f3n para determinar las medidas administrativas correspondientes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Gobierno estatal inform\u00f3 que investigar\u00e1 el cumplimiento de las empresas encargadas del mantenimiento y la calidad del agua. Si se detectan incumplimientos a la normativa sanitaria, <strong>los responsables ser\u00e1n sancionados<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El lago artificial no est\u00e1 conectado con otros espacios recreativos ni con la red de agua potable. Las autoridades indicaron que <strong>no existe riesgo para la poblaci\u00f3n de Yucat\u00e1n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-131926\" src=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/naegleria-2.avif\" alt=\"\" width=\"547\" height=\"365\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se transmite Naegleria fowleri?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La ameba prolifera principalmente en <strong>agua dulce estancada y c\u00e1lida<\/strong>, especialmente entre 35 y 46 grados Celsius. La infecci\u00f3n ocurre cuando agua contaminada entra por la nariz durante actividades como nadar, bucear o sumergirse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La enfermedad <strong>no se transmite de persona a persona ni por beber agua<\/strong>, y es considerada extremadamente rara.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los primeros s\u00edntomas pueden incluir dolor intenso de cabeza, fiebre, n\u00e1useas y v\u00f3mito.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para reabrir el lago, la empresa responsable deber\u00e1 demostrar mediante an\u00e1lisis de laboratorio que el agua cumple con la <strong>NOM-245-SSA1-2010<\/strong>.
