El pr\u00f3ximo 10 de octubre, M\u00e9rida ser\u00e1 sede de Mayatek 2026, un encuentro que reunir\u00e1 proyectos de reconocimiento de voz, ense\u00f1anza digital, inteligencia artificial y revitalizaci\u00f3n ling\u00fc\u00edstica desarrollados con participaci\u00f3n de mayahablantes, investigadores y estudiantes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La primera edici\u00f3n de Mayatek se realizar\u00e1 en el Gran Museo del Mundo Maya, de 9:00 a 18:00 horas. La propuesta va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de utilizar herramientas digitales para preservar el idioma: plantea que los propios hablantes participen en la creaci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00eda y que el maya tenga presencia en los nuevos sistemas digitales. Tambi\u00e9n habr\u00e1 propuestas relacionadas con el reconocimiento del sistema de se\u00f1as maya y proyectos digitales desarrollados por estudiantes e investigadores.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El encuentro contempla igualmente ponencias sobre acceso ling\u00fc\u00edstico, datos abiertos, Wikimedia y tecnolog\u00eda para la revitalizaci\u00f3n de lenguas. El programa cierra con la presentaci\u00f3n de proyectos finalistas y premiaci\u00f3n, adem\u00e1s de talleres simult\u00e1neos para aprender maya y programaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Del rescate de la lengua maya a la creaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El \u00e1ngulo de Mayatek introduce un cambio relevante en la discusi\u00f3n sobre la preservaci\u00f3n ling\u00fc\u00edstica: <strong>pasar de considerar al maya \u00fanicamente como una lengua que debe conservarse a incorporarlo como idioma capaz de producir
