En el caso de M\u00e9xico se estima que cerca un mill\u00f3n de adolescentes son fumadores.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El aumento del tabaquismo entre ni\u00f1os y adolescentes de 12 a 17 a\u00f1os de edad es preocupante, de acuerdo a la Direcci\u00f3n General de Epidemiolog\u00eda de la Secretar\u00eda de Salud federal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desde el Centro Nacional para la Prevenci\u00f3n y el Control de las Adicciones (CENADIC), han reflejado datos alarmantes, como el h\u00e1bito de encender un cigarro 30 minutos despu\u00e9s de despertar.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-22679 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Fumadores.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"597\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Fumadores.png 800w, https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Fumadores-768x433.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 597px) 100vw, 597px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/siete24.mx\/tendencias\/tabaquismo-aniquila-a-7-millones-por-ano\/\">tabaquismo es considerado una \u201cpandemia\u201d<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, es decir, un problema grave de salud p\u00fablica tanto nacional como internacional, que causa desde infecciones en las v\u00edas respiratorias, neumon\u00eda, bronquitis, hasta incremento en el ritmo cardiaco y la presi\u00f3n arterial, y finalmente c\u00e1ncer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desde el Centro de Atenci\u00f3n Primaria en Adicciones (CAPA), a\u00f1aden que existe una mayor tendencia a fumar en el caso de los hombres con 15.4%, sobre un 4.8% de las mujeres. Adem\u00e1s, subrayan que en la edad inicial de fumar es antes de los 18 a\u00f1os, lo que representa m\u00e1s del 75% de la poblaci\u00f3n joven.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En el mundo se<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.adn40.mx\/noticia\/salud\/nota\/2019-05-30-11-37\/mas-de-8-millones-de-personas-mueren-al-anio-por-el-tabaco\/\">\u00a0calcula que hasta 3,3 de los 8 millones de fallecidos anualmente<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, tienen relaci\u00f3n con el tabaquismo. Estos mueren por afecciones ligadas al sistema pulmonar. Tan solo en 2017, se registraron 1,5 millones de fumadores o personas expuestas al humo del tabaco, quienes murieron de enfermedades respiratorias cr\u00f3nicas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En promedio 1,2 millones por c\u00e1ncer traqueal, bronquial o pulmonar, y 600.000 por tuberculosis e infecciones del sistema respiratorio. Cabe recalcar, que los fumadores son los m\u00e1s propensos a sufrir dichas enfermedades, pero tambi\u00e9n los que inhalan el humo indirectamente (fumadores pasivos) corren el mismo riesgo, por lo que este h\u00e1bito puede afectar la salud de toda la familia<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Expertos nutricionales resaltan que el tabaquismo disminuye la percepci\u00f3n de sabores y olores, puede producir carencias nutritivas, incrementar las necesidades de vitaminas y, aumentar la acidez estomacal que podr\u00eda originar en complicaciones del sistema digestivo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por ejemplo, fumar un solo cigarrillo quita al cuerpo 25 mg de vitamina C (la cantidad de vitamina C contenida en una naranja). Pero el cuerpo necesita m\u00e1s vitamina C para contrarrestar el da\u00f1o causado por el tabaquismo a las c\u00e9lulas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para compensar este d\u00e9ficit, un fumador o exfumador debe aumentar su ingesta de vitamina C, que se puede extraer de las <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.guiadesuplementos.mx\/acerola\/\">acerolas que tienen desde de 10 a 100 veces m\u00e1s vitamina C<\/a><\/strong><\/span> que una naranja. Tambi\u00e9n se puede incrementar el consumo de frutas, como: naranjas, pi\u00f1a, mango, kiwi, entre otras.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aunque el da\u00f1o que deja el humo del tabaco en el pulm\u00f3n es muchas veces irreparable, con el paso del tiempo dejar de fumar disminuye el riesgo de padecer las mencionadas enfermedades.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al enfrentar los s\u00edntomas de la abstinencia (inquietud, intensa excitaci\u00f3n, inseguridad y angustia) y el miedo a subir peso, puede ser controlado con actividades como: yoga, caminar o correr, adem\u00e1s de
