nacional\u00a0de\u00a0germoplasma\u00a0de\u00a0cultivos\u00a0este a\u00f1o, dijo el mi\u00e9rcoles el\u00a0ministro de Agricultura, para impulsar la\u00a0capacidad\u00a0del pa\u00eds para desarrollar\u00a0nuevas variedades\u00a0de\u00a0cultivos\u00a0y mejorar la\u00a0seguridad alimentaria.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El\u00a0banco\u00a0tiene una\u00a0capacidad\u00a0dise\u00f1ada de\u00a01.5 millones de copias, casi cuatro veces la existente, y ser\u00e1 el\u00a0m\u00e1s grande del mundo, dijo el\u00a0ministro de Agricultura y Asuntos Rurales, Tang Renjian, en un comunicado en el sitio web del ministerio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los principales responsables pol\u00edticos chinos dijeron el mes pasado que el sector \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El sector semillero de China est\u00e1 fragmentado y sus empresas carecen del extenso germoplasma recolectado por las principales empresas agr\u00edcolas multinacionales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El germoplasma es material gen\u00e9tico vivo, como semillas o tejidos, que se conserva para reproducci\u00f3n e investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Una rica colecci\u00f3n de germoplasma permite seleccionar caracter\u00edsticas m\u00e1s diversas al desarrollar variedades de cultivos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El banco de semillas actual de China no puede satisfacer las necesidades de desarrollo, dijo Tang en una visita a la Academia China de Ciencias Agr\u00edcolas en Pek\u00edn, donde est\u00e1
