Estad\u00edstica y Geograf\u00eda (Inegi) dio a conocer que el COVID-19 pas\u00f3 a ser la segunda causa de muerte en M\u00e9xico durante el periodo de enero a agosto del 2020.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abLas defunciones por COVID-19, en el periodo de enero a agosto de 2020, ocupan la segunda causa de muerte a nivel global con 108 658 casos, por debajo de las enfermedades del coraz\u00f3n que ocupan el primer lugar con 141 873 y por encima de la diabetes mellitus que ocupa el tercer lugar con 99 733\u201d, se lee en el reporte \u201cCaracter\u00edsticas de las defunciones registradas en M\u00e9xico durante enero a agosto de 2020\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-55534 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/COVID-19-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los datos fueron obtenidos de los registros administrativos\u00a0generados a partir de los certificados de defunci\u00f3n suministrados por las oficial\u00edas del Registro Civil, los Servicios M\u00e9dicos Forenses y de los cuadernos estad\u00edsticos suministrados por las Agencias del Ministerio P\u00fablico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se registr\u00f3 \u201cun total de 683 823 muertes, es decir, 184 039 m\u00e1s que en el mismo periodo del a\u00f1o inmediato anterior\u201d.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div id=\"br_video_player_dbaba\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se mencion\u00f3 que fue en el mes de \u201cjulio donde se present\u00f3 el mayor n\u00famero de defunciones registradas con un 17.1%, seguido de junio y agosto con un 15.5% y 14.9%
