Unidad de Desarrollo Tecnol\u00f3gico e Investigaci\u00f3n Molecular del Instituto de Diagn\u00f3stico y Referencia Epidemiol\u00f3gicos (Indre) de M\u00e9xico, Jos\u00e9 Ernesto Ram\u00edrez Gonz\u00e1lez, ha informado de que se ha detectado una nueva variante de coronavirus\u00a0que estar\u00eda vinculada ya al 80 por ciento de los casos registrados.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tal y como ha explicado en declaraciones a\u00a0medios nacionales,\u00a0la nueva variante, identificada como B.1.1.222, tiene dos \u00abmutaciones\u00bb\u00a0importantes que podr\u00edan hacer el virus \u00abm\u00e1s transmisible\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As\u00ed, ha indicado que el principal impacto de estas variantes es que \u00abha aumentado su distribuci\u00f3n, por lo que ahora el 80 por ciento de los casos presentan esta mutaci\u00f3n\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-57889 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Cepa-COVID-19.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En este sentido, ha matizado que si bien son mutaciones \u00abimportantes\u00bb que no se pueden \u00abdejar de lado\u00bb, ha se\u00f1alado que la variante \u00abno debe considerarse como mexicana\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abTampoco es correcto nombrarlas variantes brasile\u00f1as, tienen un nombre espec\u00edfico, de momento no es adecuado, porque no s\u00f3lo circula en nuestro pa\u00eds, este linaje con esta mutaci\u00f3n se ha hallado en Canad\u00e1 y en Estados Unidos, por ejemplo\u00bb, ha dicho.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Asimismo, ha indicado que\u00a0desde octubre de 2020 se han registrado casos con esta variante,\u00a0que se iba haciendo m\u00e1s predominante a medida que pasaba el tiempo. \u00abOcurri\u00f3 como en Reino Unido, Brasil y Sud\u00e1frica, nos percatamos de que los casos con esta variante iban incrementando y por eso es que lo reportamos en este momento\u00bb, ha
