su socio alem\u00e1n BioNTech SE dijeron el viernes que hab\u00edan presentado a la Agencia Europea del Medicamento\u00a0(EMA, por su sigla en ingl\u00e9s) datos que respaldan el uso de su vacuna contra el Covid-19 en ni\u00f1os de entre cinco y 12 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aunque la vacuna no est\u00e1 actualmente autorizada para ese grupo de edad, s\u00ed lo est\u00e1 para\u00a0ni\u00f1os mayores de 12 a\u00f1os tanto en Estados Unidos\u00a0como en la Uni\u00f3n Europea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A principios de este mes, las empresas solicitaron a los organismos reguladores estadounidenses que tambi\u00e9n autorizaran el\u00a0uso de emergencia de la vacuna para los ni\u00f1os peque\u00f1os, y se espera que un panel asesor de la Administraci\u00f3n de Alimentos y Medicamentos se re\u00fana el mes que viene para revisar los datos.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-74008 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Pfizer.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aunque los ni\u00f1os son\u00a0menos susceptibles de contraer el Covid-19, pueden contagiar el virus a otras personas, incluidas quienes son vulnerables y con mayor riesgo de padecer una enfermedad grave.<\/p>\n<p
