\u2013 El secretario del Ayuntamiento de M\u00e9rida, Alejandro Ruz Castro, inform\u00f3 que las investigaciones preliminares indican que el incendio en el relleno sanitario se gener\u00f3 por la falta del material que sirve para cubrir las celdas que acumulan los desechos s\u00f3lidos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEstamos investigando si esa fue la causa y cu\u00e1l ser\u00e1 la soluci\u00f3n\u201d declar\u00f3 en breve entrevista.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-98968\" src=\"https:\/\/reporteroshoy.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/CHALMUCH_RELLENO-SANITARIO_INCENDIO-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"345\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aunque reconoci\u00f3 que el material que se coloca en los mont\u00edculos de basura es un insumo que ha escaseado, el funcionario municipal indic\u00f3 que se ha pedido a la empresa Veolia, encarga de la operaci\u00f3n del relleno sanitario, tomar todas las previsiones necesarias.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cYa pedimos a la empresa que cumpla cabalmente con la concesi\u00f3n y si no lo hace tomaremos medidas legales\u201d asever\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Despu\u00e9s de que el pasado 23 de febrero por la tarde se registr\u00f3 un nuevo siniestro en el lugar fue hasta el fin de semana cuando se logr\u00f3 controlar en su totalidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ruz Castro indic\u00f3 que en la comisar\u00eda Chalmuch permanecen brigadas de Protecci\u00f3n Civil para prestar auxilio a las personas que as\u00ed lo requiera.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Como se sabe, fueron evacuadas a un refugio del fraccionamiento Juan Pablo II una docena de habitantes de esa localidad ante la humareda que se esparci\u00f3 por la zona y que fue recorrida por el alcalde Ren\u00e1n Barrera
