Se dice que preguntando se llega a Roma y nuestro maestro de herbolaria, Salvador Puerto chan de Tradici\u00f3n Maya, puntualiz\u00f3 que para la parte exterior es muy bueno el aceite de neem y para el interior la maravillosa s\u00e1bila.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Raramente no hab\u00edamos hablado de esta planta de la cual todos hemos escuchado. \u00a0Las propiedades y beneficios de la planta medicinal Aloe Vera, m\u00e1s conocida como la S\u00e1bila, son entre otras cosas: eliminar los problemas de gastritis, \u00falceras, v\u00e1rices y humectar la piel reseca.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta planta \u00a0ha sido introducida y cultivada en las islas Canarias de Espa\u00f1a y en M\u00e9xico y \u00a0pertenece a la familia de Xanthorrhoeaceae y es originaria del norte y del este de \u00c1frica y de la Pen\u00ednsula Ar\u00e1biga. El Aloe Vera hasta el siglo XIX era conocido popularmente como \u201cac\u00edbar\u201d, pero ahora denominamos con este nombre al l\u00edquido amarillento verdoso que segrega la hoja de la planta al ser cortado. El ac\u00edbar contiene un alto porcentaje de alo\u00edna, un elemento que antiguamente se usaba en la elaboraci\u00f3n de f\u00f3rmulas farmac\u00e9uticas y que tiene propiedades purgantes. Este l\u00edquido tiene un sabor amargo y a la planta le sirve como protecci\u00f3n contra los depredadores. Los componentes de la s\u00e1bila como el calcio, potasio y celulosa provocan en las heridas la formaci\u00f3n de una red de fibras que ayudan a que las plaquetas de sangre se coagulen de manera r\u00e1pida, as\u00ed que es un excelente cicatrizante. Tiene la propiedad de regenerar c\u00e9lulas y tejidos lo cual ayuda a curar las llagas, ulceraciones bucales, as\u00ed como las lesiones inflamatorias e irritativas de la mucosa gastro-intestinal.\u00a0 Esta planta nos puede ayudar a perder el peso que nos sobra facilitando la expulsi\u00f3n de toxinas de nuestro organismo a trav\u00e9s de heces y orina.
